MSc Strategic Service Planning and Delivery in Health and Social Care Scholarship

The School's award panel will meet after the closing date to consider all eligible scholarship applications received by the due date.

The School will assess all applications against the criteria:

Evidence of understanding of the role and importance of Strategic Service Planning and Delivery in your area of work/NHS Board

Consideration of how the student will utilise the knowledge gained from this opportunity to the benefit of their NHS Board/NHS Scotland

Identification of challenges associated with balancing work/life/study and planned strategies to manage these challenges.

If you are offered an unconditional place, you can then submit your scholarship application, along with a short statement.

Applicants are required to write a short statement (no more than 1000 words) that details:

Why you are applying for the Scholarship

How you will benefit from the opportunities that being awarded the Scholarship will provide

How NHS Scotland (or specifically your NHS Board) will benefit from you undertaking the MSc

The challenges you perceive from balancing work/life/study and planned strategies to manage these challenges.

Twelve scholarships to the value of 50% of course fees are available to students whom are employed by the NHS or a Health and Social Care Partnership in Scotland. The School will assess all applications against the criteria:

Evidence of understanding of the role and importance of Strategic Service Planning and Delivery in your area of work/NHS Board

Consideration of how the student will utilise the knowledge gained from this opportunity to the benefit of their NHS Board/NHS Scotland

Identification of challenges associated with balancing work/life/study and planned strategies to manage these challenges.

All Scholarships are awarded in the form of a discount on fees paid.

A Scholarship will be withdrawn if:

You fail to accept the offer within the time permitted.

Your Scholarship or University application is found to contain incomplete or inaccurate information.

You are found to have committed academic misconduct once enrolled at the University.

You are found to have committed non-academic misconduct once enrolled at the University.

If you fail module summative assessments twice and are ‘failed course discontinued'.

You defer your offer of a place, withdraw from the University or are suspended or withdrawn from the University.

You no longer work for the NHS.
