Cleveland Scientific Institution Scholarship

You may be eligible for £3,000 if you study selected computing or science courses, live within the Tees Valley, Richmond or Whitby and are facing financial difficulty.

Yearly payments are subject to satisfactory attendance and completing all assessments with an average mark to at least a 2.2 classification. In Year 3, you're asked to attend a Cleveland Scientific Institution council meeting to give a brief account of how you've benefited from their support. Students studying on an apprenticeship pathway aren't eligible for this scholarship.

Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship you must:

be applying for the first year of a three-year degree, not a foundation year

preferably live within the Tees Valley, Richmond or Whitby

select Teesside University as your firm choice institution with UCAS

clearly outline your financial circumstances in your application and how the scholarship funds will help your studies.
