The Award will be made by the University of Auckland Council upon the recommendation of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Strategic Engagement) (or nominee).

The main purpose of the Award is to recognise high achievers from our Pathway Partner NCUK – The University Consortium, who wish to enrol in undergraduate study at the University of Auckland.
Awards will be made biannually, for a period of up to one year and will be of the value of up to NZ $10,000 each. The Award will be paid as a compulsory fees credit towards the first semester of study at the University of Auckland.
Award will be made in each semester to the full-time students who achieved the highest mark in their Pathway Partner programme. In 2022, up to six Awards of up to NZ $10,000 each may be made to the students who achieved the highest marks in the NCUK Pathway programme, and who have enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Auckland.
The Award is tenable by international students who meet all the requirements of these regulations.
