Eligible students are selected on the basis of financial need.
This bursary was established with a donation from Mrs. W.G. Sharp and is offered to students enrolled in a Doctor of Medicine course whose circumstances might without such assistance prevent them from pursuing a medical course.
Benefits
The scholarship provides an annual allowance of approximately AUD $320 (exact amount determined when award is offered) for up to the full-time duration of your course. The annual allowance is paid in two instalments usually in April and September. The duration will be reduced by any study completed towards your course prior to receiving this scholarship.
Eligibility
To be considered for this bursary, you must:
be enrolled in a Doctor of Medicine course at the University of Melbourne
provide evidence of financial need
If you have submitted an application for the Student Bursaries you will be automatically considered for this scholarship.
Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via email
