Who is the scholarship available to?
The 300 tuition fee scholarships are available to our undergraduate alumni returning to the University of Birmingham within the 2025/26 academic year to study a postgraduate degree. Students must be studying an eligible postgraduate taught degree to be able to apply for the award. Applications are open to all undergraduate alumni, meaning that both Home and International undergraduate alumni can apply for the scholarship.
Students who have graduated from an undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham Dubai are able to apply for the Alumni Scholarship if studying at the Birmingham campus or an online degree offered by the Birmingham campus.
Students must have applied to their intended postgraduate taught course before submitting an application to the Alumni Scholarship. Once you have submitted your study application, you can then complete our Alumni Scholarship application form. The award is not automatic so you must complete the application form to be considered for the tuition fee discount.
Due to the high volume of applications, the Alumni Scholarship will have two rounds in which students will be updated on their award application. This is so we can process applications as and when we receive them and respond to applicants in a timely manner.
