In making the recommendations, the selection committee gives equal consideration to: a. participation in engineering-related activities, such as WiE CAN, STEM-related activities, and/or the Taranaki Accelerator programme b. academic achievement, as indicated by quality of achievement at NCEA Level 2 or in equivalent university entrance qualifications c. aspirations that align with the working principles of DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd 6 and d. involvement in sporting, cultural, and/or community activities.
If, in any year, there is no candidate of sufficient merit for a scholarship, that scholarship is not offered.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support undergraduate Engineering students at Te Whare Wananga o Waitaha University of Canterbury from the Taranaki region.
Tenure: One year or two years
Closing Date: 11:59 pm (NZT) 15 August (Applications open approximately 8 weeks before this date)
