In making the recommendation the selection committee gives equal consideration to: a. academic involvement b. community involvement and c. the obstacles faced in pursuing study, including financial need.
If, in any year, there is no candidate of sufficient merit, no scholarship is offered.
This scholarship supports students at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha University of Canterbury who are studying, researching, or developing, aids for early-childhood special-needs education.
Applicable enrolment during tenure: Applicants must be studying, researching, or developing, in any discipline, aids for early-childhood special-needs education.
