Criteria
- Have applied to study a Master's at the School of Social Sciences at the University of Kent
- Preference will be given to candidates on the MA International Public Policy
- Study to commence in September 2025
- Be able demonstrate financial need (including a payslip, or P60 in order to prove financial need - priority will be give to those with a household income under the equivalent of £30,000 per annum)

The School will award one sum of £4,000 on a competitive basis to a successful applicant commencing Master's level study in September 2025.
To be eligible, candidates must demonstrate financial hardship and be undertaking a Master's at the School of Social Sciences, starting in September 2025 on either a full-time or part-time basis.
This Scholarship is now receiving applications, which can be made via your Kent Applicant Portal following receipt of an application for admission to one of the courses detailed.
Applicants should provide a supporting statement explaining why they wish to embark upon their chosen Master's and how the Bill Jenkins Award would benefit them. The statement should not exceed 500 words.
Applications should be made by 30 June 2025
