Summary: Our International Excellence Scholarships recognise and reward high academic achievement for students who have applied to study a taught Masters course starting in 2025.

How are the scholarships awarded?

Scholarships will be awarded to high achieving and particularly deserving applicants. This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. The scholarship will take the form of a tuition fee deduction.

Conditions

To be considered for the scholarship you must:

be classified as an international student for tuition fee purposes
have applied for 2025/26 entry for an eligible taught Masters course. You do not need to have received an offer of study before applying for the scholarship
be self-funding or partially funded
demonstrate an excellent academic track record, and be predicted to achieve or have achieved at least a bachelor's degree with a First, based on the criteria used by the school for offer purposes, or equivalent
show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities.

*Please note: If you are applying to study Energy and Environmental Engineering MSc, Materials Science and Engineering MSc, or Chemistry MSc, you are eligible to apply for this scholarship if you are predicted or have achieved at least a bachelor's degree with a 2.1, based on the criteria used by the school for offer purposes, or equivalent.
