Excellence Scholarship

A scholarship of £2,500 is available to new international postgraduate students studying an in person postgraduate master's programme.  

Eligibility  

To be eligible for this scholarship you must be an international student paying the overseas tuition fee and have a conditional or unconditional offer to study any in person, full-time, postgraduate taught programme

You must also be a resident of one of the following counties: 

• Hong Kong 
• India 
• Indonesia 
• Japan 
• Nigeria 
• South Korea 
• Taiwan 
• Thailand 
• Turkey 
• USA 
• Vietnam

Please note that we determine residency as where you have been living for a 3-year period or longer before the start of the course.  This does not include where you are living for study purposes, if it is somewhere different from your place of permanent residency.  

Conditions of getting the scholarship 

The £2,500 is available as a tuition fee reduction on the first year of study.  Find out the conditions of getting a scholarship.  Please note that you can receive this scholarship alongside another scholarship award as long as the combined value of the scholarships does not exceed the cost of your full fees.
