Ryan Wardlaw Scholarship

The Ryan Wardlaw Scholarship will be administered as part of the University's Wardlaw Scholarship Programme. It will be awarded to a student for up to five years of an undergraduate course and will be used to defray the costs of study at the University of St Andrews which can include tuition fees and/or residence costs and/or general maintenance for the student.

The Ryan Wardlaw Scholarship was established thanks to a generous donation from Tim, Kathryn and Anna Ryan. Established in 2011 to provide financial assistance to academically gifted students who would otherwise struggle with the cost of studying at the University of St Andrews.

Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.

Household income: as part of the application you will be asked to upload evidence of the income stated in your scholarship application as total household income. Please provide all relevant forms of income for the current or most recent full year, including employment, wage, salary statements (most recent three months), tax certificates or returns, confirmation letters from the Department of Work and Pensions, award letters from Social Security Scotland, letters from local government, and Tax credit, DLA, dividends, pension and annuity statements. If evidence is not available please provide bank statements or electronic statements (most recent three months) to show receipt of income. Please supply PDFs or similar small file size format documents in English.
