British Council Women in STEM Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

be or identify as a woman

be a passport holder and permanent resident of one of the eligible countries listed above

have applied and received an offer to study one of the following degrees at the University of Stirling by the time you submit your scholarship application:

• MSc Sustainable Aquaculture
• MSc Aquatic Pathobiology
• MSc Aquatic Veterinary Studies
• MSc Environmental Remote Sensing and Geospatial Sciences
• MSc Environmental Management (including Energy, Conservation, Informatics)
• MSc Autism Research
• MSc Health Psychology
• MSc Psychological Research Methods
• MSc Psychology of Sport
• MSc Psychology
• MSc Mathematics and Data Science
• MSc Big Data
• MSc Financial Technology (FinTech)
• MSc Artificial Intelligence

have completed an undergraduate degree that will allow you to meet the academic requirements of the University of Stirling for the degree programme you apply for before you submit your scholarship application

have not previously studied at degree level or higher in the UK or lived recently in the UK. Distance learning at a UK university or study at a UK branch campus in another country will also be considered as studying in the UK

be available to start academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year

meet the English language requirement of the University of Stirling for the degree programme you apply for

demonstrate a need for financial support

not be in receipt of financial support or funding towards your study programme in the UK from any other source and not be able to privately fund your UK studies

demonstrate a plan and a passion to engage other women and girls in STEM from your home country.
