The scholarship is awarded as a £5,000 accommodation fee waiver or cash award in the first year of studies only. The Literature and Languages Undergraduate Scholarship is open to UK offer-holders for first year entry to Bachelor degree courses in the School of Literature and Languages at the University of Surrey. Successful applicants will demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for their subject area. The scheme is application based and awards are decided by a scholarship awards panel. International offer-holders for Literature and Languages courses should apply for the International Excellence scholarship instead.
Applicants must:
- Be a UK student, with home fee status
- Hold an offer to study a full-time Bachelors/Integrated Masters degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) to any Literature or Languages programme. Applicants for the Foundation Year cannot be considered for this award.
The scholarship is application based. Surrey offer-holders may apply online.
You must have an offer from the University to complete the Scholarship application form. Applications without a valid student ID/UCAS ID and offer will not be assessed.
