Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Postgraduate Conversion Scholarship

The University of Sussex has received funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the Office for Artificial Intelligence (OAI) to increase diversity in the AI and Data Science sector and to support 16 UK students from underrepresented groups to access, participate and succeed in higher education.

• To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you must have a UK nationality or residence status, have been assessed as 'Home' for fees and meet the nationality or residency status criteria to qualify for the Postgraduate Masters' Loan. You must also have been offered and accepted a place on one of the following degrees:
• MSc Artifical Intelligence and Adaptive Systems
• MSc Artificial Intelligence and Adaptive Systems (with an industrial placement year)
• MSc Data Science
• MSc Data Science (with an industrial placement year)
• MSc Human and Social Data Science

Scholarships will be prioritised for students who are Black, female, disabled or from low socioeconomic backgrounds (Index of Multiple Disadvantage quintiles 1 and 2, low household income). You can check if you live in Q1 or Q2 here.

Special consideration will also be given to care experienced students estranged students Gypsy, Roma, Traveller students refugees and children from military families, veterans and partners of military personnel.
