Adelaide is a place full of interesting areas. Whether you prefer the peace and beauty of nature or the vibrancy of the city, Adelaide is definitely a city that will not disappoint you.
If you are looking for a lively city full of interesting and lovely culture, Adelaide is a great choice for you. There is not only a beautiful city but it is also surrounded by many parks and green gardens. It's also a simple city to explore, as it was well planned before construction began with wise urban planning. Even though Adelaide is only about 176 years old, it has a strong history that is based on academic success.
To the east of Adelaide is the centre for latte lovers. But certainly not all that can be found in the rest of the city. A café and restaurant are located among Adelaide's oldest libraries, both in art galleries and in many buildings, even within the botanical gardens scattered across more than 125 acres and also in retail stores. Of course, it was popular with wealthy people, both in terms of price and the cultural experience to be gained. But if you stroll further into alleys, you'll be surprised to discover many independent entrepreneurs and small businesses located at the back of or on top of the larger corporations that dominate the main street. At the eastern end of North Terrace, you'll recognise the University of Adelaide's largest campus, which is located there.
Before that, the west end of the city of Adelaide was a dangerous area with many fast-food restaurants or strip clubs. However, it has been dismantled and rebuilt over the last decade thanks to investments from governments, universities, and businesses. Now, it has become a diverse area where you can find an artist's studio or a small cafe when you walk through. You can find anything in the west area, ranging from the beauty of the River Torrens and loud noise at night at Hindley Street to many activities in the morning at the central market of vegetables and fruits. The University of South Australia's City West Campus is on the western end of North Terrace.
To the south of Adelaide is the large Parklands Park, which separates the business district from the surrounding area.
Simply cross over to the inner city of the south, which is the most developed area of Adelaide, and you can find interesting coffee shops and shopping areas. In the Unley, Goodwood, Parkside, and Hyde Park areas, which are peaceful and quiet, all those wealthy families, retired people, and students reside here in the antique house that used to belong to mining workers. You can take a break from your busy days from school or work in these areas. A little further south, you'll find Flinders University's main campus in Bedford Park.
