Sydney sits on Sydney Harbor, a large natural harbour on the Middle Eastern coast of New South Wales, and is surrounded by rivers from the north to the east and the Blue Mountains to the west.
From Sydney's northern suburbs, the drive should take about 2 hours. The city of Newcastle is well-known for its coal industry and seaside lifestyle. Accessibility to Sydney via train is also available.
