Although New Zealand is often mistakenly thought of as similar to Australia, the truth is that New Zealand has many unique features that are very attractive to tourists and students from around the world.

One key highlight is that New Zealand has a lower cost of living compared to other popular countries such as England, Australia, and the United States. Furthermore, international students with a visa for studying in New Zealand are allowed to work part-time up to 20 hours per week, with the exception of full-time work allowed on holidays as determined by the government. Additionally, after graduation, students can apply for a Post-Study Visa to work in New Zealand for up to an additional 3 years.

New Zealand can be described as a country with a very high level of proximity to nature. With a population of only 4.7 million in an area similar in size to England, there is still a lot of natural space that has not been disturbed. New Zealand's natural tourist destinations are diverse, including mountains, beaches, volcanoes, lakes, and even wilderness forests. There are many outdoor activities to choose from, such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, kayaking, and more. Not only that, but New Zealand is also a major filming location for fantasy films such as The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, and there are tours that follow in the footsteps of both movie series.

According to the 2018 Global Peace Index rankings, New Zealand is the second-most peaceful and safe country in the world. Therefore, it can be confidently said that living in New Zealand is certainly safe. However, just because New Zealand is known for being peaceful and safe, it does not mean that it is quiet or boring. The largest city in the country, Auckland, guarantees both color and music, particularly as it is recognized as a City of Music, which is one of the networks established by UNESCO's Creative Cities Network.

In addition to that, Auckland is also an economic center, with numerous large projects and new companies emerging, resulting in many job opportunities that have been steadily increasing since 2010. Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand and the location of the Parliament building. It is also known as the center of arts and culture in the country, with various institutions such as the national museum and gallery, Te Papa, the Royal New Zealand Ballet, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and many theaters. Along with its unique architecture and public art performances, Wellington is a city full of creativity. Although it is similar to Christchurch in terms of street art, Christchurch is also known as the "Garden City" due to its many green spaces, particularly the large 407-acre Hagley Park located in the heart of the city.

Due to its beautiful natural scenery, safety, and opportunities for growth, New Zealand is considered an attractive option for studying languages.

Currently, IDP is offering great promotions for studying languages in New Zealand, and I would like to recommend them. Starting at just 5,000 baht per week for Thai students.
