Completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (for Thai students).

IELTS 6.0 overall (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent TOEFL/PTE Academic scores.

Postgraduate

Completion of a bachelor’s degree equivalent to the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

IELTS 6.5 overall (no band less than 6.0) or equivalent TOEFL/PTE Academic scores.

Diploma & Graduate Diploma

Completion of Year 12 for Diploma, or a bachelor’s degree for Graduate Diploma.

IELTS 6.0 overall (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent TOEFL/PTE Academic scores.

Application Deadlines:

  • Trimester 1 (February start): Apply by 15 December 2024.

  • Trimester 2 (July start): Apply by 15 May 2025.


Tuition Fees (2025)

  • Undergraduate Programs: AUD 28,000–30,000 per year (varies by course).

  • Postgraduate Programs: AUD 30,000–35,000 per year (varies by course).

  • Research Programs: AUD 29,000–32,000 per year.


Scholarships for International Students

UNE offers several scholarships to support international students:

  • UNE International Postgraduate Research Award (IPRA):

    • Stipend of AUD 28,092 per year.

    • Full tuition fee coverage and health insurance.

    • Available for doctoral and research master’s programs.

  • UNE International Accommodation Scholarship:

    • Covers up to AUD 4,000 for on-campus accommodation fees.

    • Includes fully furnished residential college rooms, utility costs, and Wi-Fi access.
