The food supply chain is no exception and is critical to the health and wellbeing of everyone. As we tackle challenges from climate change to globalisation, it's more important than ever that we future proof the production and supply of food.

By studying our BSc (Hons) Agri-Food Technology, youll explore the use of new technologies to ensure the availability of food to everyone in society, while reducing the impact of food production on the environment. As an Agri-Food Technology student at ARU Peterborough, youll acquire important skills and experience, including a detailed understanding of crop and animal production systems.

You will build your understanding of soils, water, and the atmosphere, which are essential for understanding the environment, and food production. Youll also gain a thorough grounding in the social, environmental, and business principles that underpin food security and sustainability.

Working alongside industry you will see how data science, technology and innovation help farmers and food companies become more sustainable and focus on current issues in food production and future impacts, looking at how we can address them, while considering environmental protection and sustainability.

96 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent) including a grade C in Science (Biology or Chemistry are preferred).
3 GCSEs at grade C, or grade 4, or above, including English and Maths.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
An International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 24 points.

IELTS 6.0 with 5.5 in each element.
TOEFL iBT with 80 overall and a minimum of 17 in Writing and Listening, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
