EQI is the trading name for the international branch of the Queensland Department of Education. It provides education programs and services for international students, teachers and school leaders at Queensland Government schools and abroad.
Education Queensland International (EQI) offers a wide range of study programs for students aged 5—18 years. With nearly 30 years of experience, they are proud of its world-class programs, facilities and support services for international students. More than 90 accredited schools participate in their programs, providing international students with a strong foundation for future academic and career success.
Students can choose from a range of subjects to develop their individual skills, talents and support career goals. Schools provide a blend of academic, vocational, sports and arts studies designed to encourage a student’s full potential. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) courses are available in most schools. Many schools offer specialized programs or expertise, such as marine science, agricultural science, or elite sporting programs.
The health, safety and wellbeing of international students is paramount. EQI provides exceptional quality support services at every stage of the program, including 24-hour emergency assistance and multilingual support, student counselling and guidance, homestay services, student welfare support, excellent student facilities.
