Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Leadership and Management

Build on your business diploma with this business administration management advanced diploma program. Our leadership and management courses will provide you with the necessary critical thinking and analytical skills to make any business a success. You’ll also have the opportunity to apply to further develop your consulting skills with the option of substituting two courses for the intensive community consultancy program, working with live clients to solve real problems.
Students who have completed the two-year business diploma program can continue for a third year to earn an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in business administration management.
Students will explore subject matter including strategic planning, leadership principles and practices, performance management, social responsibility, sustainability, organizational change, global business and creativity and innovation in business. Additionally, students foster the decision-making skills that are in demand in today's economy. Experiential learning is integral to the program, allowing students to explore management in practice and apply their skills.
Graduates of this program will have earned all the education credits required for the Certified in Management (CIM) designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Graduates who meet admission requirements are also eligible for transfer to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Management) degree or they may be eligible to complete a degree at many other post-secondary institutions or complement your advanced diploma with a graduate certificate offered at Fanshawe.

Business Ontario College Diploma from Fanshawe College with a minimum overall average of 'C+' (2.5 cumulative GPA)
OR
An equivalent qualification from another institution as judged by the College with a minimum overall average of 'C+' (2.5 cumulative GPA)
OR
A combination of relevant education and work experience in a related field as judged by the College to be equivalent to the above

Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to demonstrate proficiency in English by one of the following methods:

• A Grade 12 College Stream or University Stream English credit from an Ontario Secondary School, or equivalent, depending on the program's Admission Requirements
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 550 for the paper-based test (PBT), or 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
• International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years
• Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) test with an overall score of 60 with no score less than 50 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years
• Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) with a minimum score of 53, with test results within the last two years
