Fashion Marketing and Management is where your eye for style and business meet. If you are passionate about the world of fashion and have a keen eye for what will sell, our fashion marketing program can help you start your career in various industries such as apparel (adult and children’s), home goods, giftware and accessories. Through a unique combination of business, visual and technology courses, you will graduate with the skills you need to launch a career in retail management, visual merchandising, digital marketing, social media management, styling, brand development & management, and more.
In this two-year diploma program, you will deepen your understanding of the multi-billion dollar retail industry. Our three areas of study focus on business, technology and visual presentation with emphasis on principles and practical experience in marketing and management. Course content emphasizes forward-thinking global trends and ethical and sustainable practices throughout the year. Students are taught Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software.
Students have multiple opportunities to network with professionals to gain industry connections and operate a retail store. Live Chic is our student-run online and retail campus store, offering apparel, home goods, giftware, and wellness merchandise.
Fashion Marketing and Management is the business of fashion. We provide the knowledge with the hands on approach to prepare you for a dynamic career in retail.
Students will be responsible for the retail operations of our program campus and online store Live Chic through buying, sales, inventory, merchandising, visual presentation, marketing and social media.
Upon graduation, students may choose to pursue further education such as an honours degree through one of our articulation agreements at Toronto Metropolitan University, Southampton Solent University, Manchester Metropolitan University, and others.
The Fashion Marketing and Management program offers a cooperative education component, which provides students the opportunity to gain invaluable first-hand workplace experience in their chosen field.
