Master of Science 80 Credit
The 80-credit SM program is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree. Applicants should have a strong background in a relevant discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, genetics, physiology, bioengineering, and related social and computational sciences) and mathematics, excellent quantitative GRE scores and clear research goals.
Master of Science 42.5 Credit- Academic Year
Applicants with a medical degree or master’s-level background in relevant disciplines (e.g., biology, chemistry, genetics, physiology, bioengineering, and related social and computational sciences).
Master of Science 42.5 Credit- Summer Only
The Summer Only 42.5 CR is designed for applicants with a medical degree or master’s-level background in relevant disciplines (e.g., biology, chemistry, genetics, physiology, bioengineering, and related social and computational sciences) and can be completed over 2 summer sessions. Thesis proposal and local mentor is required for application.
English Language Scores: The Harvard Chan School requires a minimum of 600 on the paper-based test, 250 on the computer-based test, and 100 on the Internet-based 4-part test (we prefer individual section scores of 23 or better). The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) will also be accepted with a score of 7.0 or greater. Application Deadline: December 01.
