Year One Foundation Program - Faculty of Arts

The University of Alberta (U of A) Year One Foundation Program prepares you to enter the second year of your chosen degree program. If you don’t currently meet the academic requirements for your major, the Year One Foundation Program is designed to help you get there.This program acts as the first year of a four-year degree program, so you’ll be a U of A student from day one and won’t lose any time.If you need any support while you’re enrolled in the program, U of A and Kaplan are here to help you with your studies, adjusting to life in Canada, work authorization, or career path.
