Bachelor of Management and Organisational Studies - Organizational and Human Resources (Honours)

As part of the School of MEM, the Organizational and Human Resources stream of King's BMOS degree focuses on maximizing organizational performance through effective employee selection and training, performance appraisals and rewards systems, as well as leadership development and diversity management. Three major factors determine the economic success of a firm: land, labour, and capital. Therefore, being able to manage human resources (labour) is at the core of any successful business.

Students may not apply to the BMOS HONORS SPECIALIZATIONS when they apply for admission to the University.

After first year, students may apply for admission upon completion of first-year requirements with no failures. Students must have an average of at least 73% on, and no grade less than 60% in, the following 3.0 principal courses:

1.0 course: Business Administration 1220E.
0.5 course from: Calculus 1000A/B, Mathematics 1225A/B, Mathematics 1230A/B.
0.5 course from: Calculus 1301A/B, 1501A/B, Mathematics 1229A/B, 1600A/B.
1.0 course: Economics 1021A/B and 1022A/B.
1.0 course: from Psychology 1000, 1000W/X
1.0 course: from Sociology 1020, 1021E, 1020W/X

Students admitted to King's University College must be proficient in written and spoken English. If English is not your first language, you must provide proof of your proficiency in listening, speaking, writing and reading English. Typically, this is done through an official test or ESL program. We reserve the right to ask anybody to provide proof of English language proficiency.
You must provide official transcripts from all previous institutions attended (secondary and post-secondary)

A complete IB Diploma, including:
Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay
Passes in at least six subjects (three at Higher Level)
A minimum total grade of 25 (including the Extended Essay and TOK)
No mark less than 4 on any course
Required courses for your program
IELTS Academic is required with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0.
Students must achieve a written TOEFL score of 580 or higher and a score of 4.5 on the TWE or a score of 85-90 on Internet Based Test (IBT) with no section less than 20.

Duolingo - A minimum score of 115 overall with a minimum of 100 for each subscore.
