Bachelor of Arts/Master of Arts in English

The Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) in English is designed to allow students to earn a BA degree and an MA degree in English in five years rather than the six years normally required to earn both degrees.Undergraduates participating in this program are granted early admission to the Graduate School and are allowed to take up to 12 credit hours of graduate-level courses during their senior year, these graduate courses can also count towards senior year major requirements. Many students use an ADP to bridge between general liberal arts study and a more focused career path. Students who wish to do this should plan to complete an MA project based on their professional goals. The Department will facilitate such projects, which can be tailored to individual students, scholarly papers, creative writing projects, professional writing portfolios, and internships are all possibilities. Perhaps you've heard it referred to as an accelerated bachelor's-master's or a 4plus1 program. We have nicknamed it the Faster Master's. Accelerated Degree Programs (ADP) allows current Marquette University undergraduate students to continue on for a master's degree after completing their bachelor's degrees. ADP students take classes during their junior or senior years that meet requirements for both their undergraduate and graduate degrees.

College and University Transcripts - Transcripts for each college and university attended.
Exams and Certificates - Exam results or certificates from a regional, national or international testing authority, as appropriate for your educational system.
ACT or SAT scores - Optional.

IELTS - 6.5 Overall with section scores of at least (Reading-6.5, Listening-6.5, Speaking-6.5, Writing-6.0)
TOEFL iBT - 76 Overall with section scores of at least (Reading-18, Listening-18, Speaking-20, Writing-20)
