Certificate in Medical Device Reprocessing Technician

The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician program prepares skilled graduates to enter the workforce to perform the critical work of sterilizing, packaging, and storing surgical and medical instruments. During the 27-week program, you will learn anatomy and physiology, microbiology, infection prevention and control, workplace communication, and the procedures necessary for work as a medical device reprocessing technician. Graduates of this program have opportunities to work in the medical device reprocessing departments of hospitals and in other health facilities that reuse medical equipment and instruments. The medical device reprocessing field is growing steadily with an increasing demand for well-trained technicians to work in the health industry.

Academic requirements
Language Arts this requirement can be met with any of the following, or an equivalent course:
60% in English Language Arts 30-1
70% in English Language Arts 30-2
60% in ESLG 1860
70% in ESLG 1898

IELTS Academic- 6.5, no section score below 6
TOEFL iBT- 84, no section score below 21
