Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Human Resource Management

Students in the human resource management concentration learn how to design and implement programs to more effectively acquire, develop, and retain the organization's human resources. This includes staffing (planning, recruitment, and selection of employees), training and development, performance management, leadership, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and employee health, safety, and security. The B.S. in Business Administration program focuses on core business functions and offers six different concentration. All students learn about finance, marketing, strategy, information technology, law, operations, and human resources. Student also complete a four-course concentration in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Marketing or Supply Chain Management. Graduates are prepared for a variety of careers in business or industry, including banking and finance, manufacturing, product development, human resources, IT management and business analysis.
