BSc (Hons) Event Production (London)

For those wanting to forge an exciting career in the live event production industry, Confetti is the place to study. Youll work in a real-world live events venue, learning from our team of experts who are professionals in lighting design, live sound, broadcasting, live event planning, and live video installation and design, including LED video screen technology, and projection mapping pyrotechnics.

Just like the professionals working in the live event industry, youll use PA systems from manufacturers including LAccoustic, Nexo, and EV, lighting technology from Martin, Robe, Clay Paky and Chauvet, and digital and mixing consoles by DiGiCo, Allen & Heath, and Midas.

Youll get countless opportunities to add to your portfolio, both at Confetti and through external projects and events in London, Nottingham and across the UK. Youll learn about a broad range of disciplines in the live and technical events sector, including lighting design and operation, live sound reinforcement, sound theory and acoustics, electrical principles, equipment maintenance and repair, live video technology including LED video walls and projection mapping, pyrotechnics safety, live broadcast technology, emerging technologies in the industry and live event planning. Industry and work-related opportunities will be gained through live projects, Confetti's Industry Week, guest lectures and short work placements.

We accept a range of UK academic qualifications including A-levels, International Baccalaureate, BTEC, International Foundation programmes and pre-Masters courses from recognised schools, colleges and universities.
112 UCAS Tariff points from up to four qualifications.

International Baccalaureate - Overall Pass in the IB Diploma, including at least 14 points from three Higher Level Subjects

IELTS - 6.0 with minimum of 5.5 in each component
TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 74 with at least 18 Reading, 17 Listening, 20 Speaking, 19 Writing
