Doctor of Psychology in School - Clinical Child Psychology

The PsyD program in School-Clinical Child Psychology prepares graduates to be professional psychologists as health service providers with expertise in school and clinical psychology in the context of evidence-based practice. You will be uniquely prepared to provide clinical and educational expertise and consultation within school and clinical settings in order to best serve children and families across a variety of systems of service delivery. The program utilizes a practitioner-scholar training model that prepares psychologists to provide primarily direct and, to some extent, indirect services from a variety of theoretical perspectives. This program is STEM designated, which means you will be trained in areas of technology that are in high demand with United States employers. International students studying in person on student visas will be eligible for an Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension of 24 months, for a total of 36 months.

Applicants to Pace University graduate degree and certificate programs must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university if postsecondary education was completed in the United States. Applicants who are currently in their senior year at an undergraduate institution may apply for admission, but acceptance will be contingent upon receipt of a final transcript indicating all senior year grades and receipt of the bachelor's degree. Applicants who have attended institutions outside of the U.S. must hold a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.

Transcripts from every accredited college or university attended (not just the degree granting institution) must be sent either to Pace University, directly from the academic institution electronically or by mail, or forwarded by the applicant in sealed envelopes from the academic institution.

Applicants who have earned a degree or completed coursework at Pace University will not be required to submit a transcript from Pace University and are required to indicate on the application that they have attended Pace. Transcripts from all other institutions attended are required and must be submitted to be considered for admission.
