Below are some basic criteria.
An undergraduate degree in the engineering discipline for which you are applying or in a related engineering or science discipline
A 3.00 or higher junior-senior grade point average
A competitive score on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
For international students, acceptable Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. Statement of Purpose: A description of relevant experiences, technical interests, and the proposed field of study.
R'sum: Outlining educational background, professional experience, awards, honors, and publications.
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation:
The references you list in the online application will be given directions for submitting their letters.
We will accept letters by mail in a sealed and signed envelope if your references choose not to submit their letters online. Copies of transcripts, degree/study certificates and diplomas in the language of instruction from all institutions of higher education attended, both undergraduate and graduate, should be uploaded online as part of the Graduate School Application. International applicants must take and submit scores for the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), with the exceptions noted below. The minimum acceptable score for the TOEFL is 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test, or a total score of 80 with a 19 on the speaking section for the Internet-based test (iBT). Applicants with iBT speaking scores between 15 and 18 may be considered for provisaaional admission, enrollment, and, if necessary, remedial course work.
