Certificate in Nutritional Science (Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway (ISPP)

The Pepperdine Nutritional Science program offers both an ISPP for those applying with a completed/or near completed master's degree, and a new Master's of Nutrition and Health Science and ISPP to complete your education and training to be eligible to become a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN). Once both a master's degree and the ISPP are completed, an individual is eligible to take the Registration Examination, and if successful, will become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).

Pepperdine University offers a 9-month standalone ISPP program to complete your required supervised hours. If you have already earned a master's degree and hold a DPD verification statement from either your bachelor's or master's degree, this program is for you

A bachelors degree with an overall and major GPA of 3.00 is required In addition a Verification statement signed by the DPD Director from ACEND of the AND must be provided for review of application One must have submitted an acceptable application in the past 5 years to DICAS through a previous national match and been unmatched to any supervised practice program ISPP candidates should meet the minimum application standards of Pepperdine University

All students whose native language is not English must submit scores on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). A minimum total score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), or 100 (iBT version) is required.
