Master of Business Administration - Finance

In this concentration, you'll build the theoretical foundations and gain the hands-on experience you need to excel in the financial services industry. Many of our MBA finance degree students go on to pass all three CFA-level examinations. We emphasize experiential learning, so you can bring new concepts directly from the classroom to your workplace. As a result of this broad preparation, our alumni are spread across many big-name firms and companies such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Johnson & Johnson and Prudential. And we keep the entire program, offered on campus and online, streamlined to just 40 credits.

In an MBA finance program, professionals are prepared to delve deep into the intricacies of financial management, investment strategies, and market analysis. Graduates can navigate the complex world of banking, taking on roles such as Investment Banker, Financial Analyst, or Portfolio Manager. They might also explore opportunities in corporate finance as CFOs or Financial Managers, steering the financial direction of established companies or emerging startups. Asset management is another opportunity, allowing graduates to become Fund Managers or Financial Advisors, guiding investments and retirement portfolios. Beyond traditional finance roles, they can leverage their expertise in consulting, and advising firms on mergers, acquisitions, or capital market strategies. In addition to the submission of a TOEFL or IELTS (If English is not the applicant's first language), the admissions committee require a GMAT or GRE score to be submitted. There is no difference in the evaluation of the two standardized assessments and the Admissions Committee believes both tests are valid in helping to predict academic success. For an applicant with a GPA of 3.0 and above, a competitive score for the GMAT/GRE should be in at least the 30th percentile. For an applicant with a GPA below 3.0, a competitive score for the GMAT/GRE should be in at least the 50th percentile. In order to be considered for admission, you must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from a college or university. All applicants must submit the following components to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee for a graduate degree program:

Competitive applicants must score a minimum of a 6 on the IELTS. A minimum score of 607 paper based-254 computer based and 80 for internet based is required for admission.
