Bachelor of Arts (Criminal Justice)/Juris Doctor

Suffolk undergraduate students who want to pursue a legal education have the opportunity to pursue Suffolk's 3 plus 3 Bachelor's/JD Program. This highly selective program has limited capacity and is ideal for highly motivated and academically outstanding undergraduates intent on earning a JD. A select number of outstanding Suffolk undergraduates may gain early admission to Suffolk University Law School at the end of junior year. Such students are able to earn their bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor degree in six years instead of the customary seven.
Only Suffolk students with distinctly superior records and LSAT scores can expect to qualify for the 3 plus 3 Bachelor's/JD Program. Students interested in applying to the 3 plus 3 Program should be planning their academic programs accordingly beginning freshman year or as soon as possible thereafter.
The pathway for criminal justice majors allows students to complete all requirements for the core and the major in years 1-3. Following successful admission, students begin their first year of law school in year four.
