Graduate Diploma in Employment and Labour Relations Law

The Graduate Diploma in Employment and Labour Relations Law (GDipEmp&LRelLaw) is ideal for legal practitioners and non-lawyers with an interest in the legal regulation of employment and labour relations, including those working in the public sector, corporate management and human resourcespersonnel services as well as trade unions and employer groups. Working with lecturers who are leaders in their fields, and fellow students from Australia and around the world, you’ll have a unique opportunity to gain advanced understanding of employment and labour relations law, its recent developments and its interaction with the governance and practice of the industry.

Applicants must have completed:

A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) at honours standard or equivalent leading to admission to legal practice
or
A degree in law (LLB, JD or equivalent) leading to admission to legal practice and at least one year of documented, relevant professional experience
or
An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least one year of documented, relevant professional work experience.
In assessing applications, the Selection Committee will consider:
Prior academic performance
Professional experience (if necessary).

IELTS total score of at least 6.5 in the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), with no bands less than 6.0.
TOEFL (internet-based): total score at of least 79 and scores of 21 for writing, 18 for speaking, 13 for reading and 13 for listening.
TOEFL (paper-based): total score of at least 577 with a score of 4.5 in the Test of Written English.
