The Graduate Program in Neuroscience accepts for admission to the Masters' program candidates with undergraduate majors in a variety of disciplines, including but not restricted to Biology, Biochemistry, Mathematics, Pharmacology, Physics, Physiology, Psychology and Zoology.
A candidate with a First Class Honours degree in any of these disciplines, or with an M.D. degree, may apply for the doctoral program.
All applicants must receive favorable evaluations from three previous instructors or research supervisors. Students should choose referees who are most familiar with their abilities and research experience.
Applicants should provide a statement of their interests. An important factor in admissibility is the extent to which an applicant's research interests are compatible with those of a Neuroscience faculty member.
For admission to the Master's program the Graduate Program in Neuroscience accepts candidates with undergraduate majors in a variety of disciplines, including but not restricted to Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Kinesiology, Mathematics, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, Physics, Physiology, Psychology, and Zoology. We do not have specific course requirements, but we recommend a good foundation in neuroscience-based courses which could include biology, biochemistry, psychology, molecular biology, and statistics.
IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 7.0 is required with a minimum score of 6.5 in each component.
TOEFL IBT - 100 for the internet-based exam with minimum component scores of (Reading - 22 , Listening - 22), (Writing - 21 , Speaking - 21)
