Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Ecology

The School offers a degree program sequence combining either the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and the Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Ecology. This program consists of the existing Bachelor's degree requirements, except that eligible students take up to 9 credits of graduate courses as part of their undergraduate electives, as approved by the School. These graduate courses count towards the required 30 credits for the Master of Science (thesis and non-thesis) in Interdisciplinary Ecology. This program can be completed in one or more years beyond the Bachelor's degree.

The two degree programs that constitute a combination degree are expected to be combined in time. Combination degree programs are composed of a single contiguous and continuous set of closely related courses and other academic activities. A gap of more than two semesters between completing the bachelor's degree and beginning the master's degree is not permitted without an approved petition citing extenuating circumstances.

At least three full years of your most recent secondary school transcript(s), including courses in progress (grades 9, 10 and 11 + senior schedule) in both the native language of instruction and a word for word certified English translation (if applicable).
All applicants must submit test scores from the SAT, ACT and/or CLT. UF will superscore (take the highest scores for each subsection) to create the highest possible total score. UF does not require or encourage applications to complete the essay portion of the ACT.
