M.S. Application Instructions
Applications must be submitted through the University of Florida Graduate School application system. Please do not submit any M.S. application materials directly to the department.
Before beginning your application, read all of the information and instructions on the web pages of the UF Graduate School and the UF Office of Admissions.
Submit three letters of recommendation using the UF Graduate School
Describe your career goals and how a M.S. in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Health Outcomes and Implementation Science or Biomedical Informatics is important to achieving those goals.
Under the College Information and Activities section:
Resume/Other (Optional):
Use the Upload Resume button to upload a CV/resume.
Use the Upload Other button to upload a single cover letter document (3 page maximum) that includes:
a brief overview of your background
a description of your prior research experience with a focus on your most significant experiences
your current status (e.g., whether you are currently an undergraduate who is graduating this year, a medical student, resident physician, fellow, graduate student in another program, faculty, etc.)
your reasons for applying to the program
Applicants with a bachelor's degree only, a minimum grade point average of B (3.0), calculated from all grades and credits after the semester where the applicant reached 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours is required.
Arrange to have official test scores (MCAT, IELTS, MELAB, TOEFL) sent to the UF Office of Admissions following the instructions provided by the Office of Admissions.
For applicants from countries where English is not the ofcial language, a minimum score on one of these English Language Skills tests, IELTS - 6.0,TOEFL IBT- 80, PBT- 550.
