Master of Public Health in Public Health and Doctor of Philosophy in Kinesiology

The Kinesiology Program in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Science and the Doctor of Philosophy degrees.The M.P.H. can be earned jointly with the Kinesiology, Ph.D. In the joint program up to 12 hours of coursework may be applied to both degrees, and the degrees are conferred simultaneously at the completion of the program.

All applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0 GPA) to apply to the MPH program. GPA is calculated from the last 60 hours (approximately two years) of undergraduate coursework. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in a health or disability-related discipline and/or a strong background in social and biological sciences and quantitative methods. nternational students must also submit Test of English as a Foreign Language scores, with a minimum for full status admission: 103 (TOEFL - IBT) or 7.5 (IELTS).
