ULV's Digital Media Program prepares students for the ever-changing world of media and gives students real-world training to thrive in a competitive environment. Students choose between either Film and Television or Radio Broadcast and Digital Audio Production concentrations.
The Radio and Digital Audio Production program educates and trains students to prepare them for careers in radio, audio production, podcasting, entertainment, music streaming services, and voice over. Our students work in our studios and on our radio station to develop their on-air, production, and content creation, skills. They intern at the largest and best Southern California radio stations and production companies. We have alumni who are working with, and for the most innovative programmers and stations in the country, including, iHeart Radio, Entercom, Merulo Media, and more. These stations include, KOST, K-EARTH, The WAVE, AMP Radio, Power 106, KDAY, KNX, Fox Sports, AM 830, K-FROG, Hot 103.9, and more.
Our campus station, LeoFM is run by the Communications Department providing music and sports play-by-play to the student body throughout the residence halls on 107.9 Mhz and streaming online.
