Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics - Statistics

The Statistics option will prepare the students for careers in statistics or data science by building a strong foundation in mathematics and gaining useful skills for real-world work experience. Students who successfully complete this option will find job opportunities in industry and government. Some of the career opportunities include, but are not limited to, statistical analyst, statistical programmer, statistical consultant, and data scientist. This option also prepares the qualified students for further studies at a graduate school, which provides even greater career opportunities that require advanced degrees.

You are considered a first-year student if you have not taken any post-secondary/college coursework. Your application should include your high school or secondary school records, including results from culminating or leaving examinations. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions only accepts official high school records, leaving certificates, and or graduation examination results or their notarized copies.
