The UNC Greensboro Bachelor of Fine Art Program in Studio Art New Media and Design focuses on the creative uses of technology in art and design disciplines. Courses cover the diverse techniques, skills, and concepts that are important to artistic work in video/animation/motion, digital imaging, coding/interaction, typography, and visual communication. Students learn a variety of research, production, and concept development methods, media histories and theories, and industry-standard visualization tools. At the upper-level, you are able to apply skills, approach complexity, and direct and manage projects independently. Internships offer chances for applied knowledge and complement coursework.
