University of Reading

The University of Reading was established in 1892. It is recognized as one of the top 200 Universities in the world, and is home to thousands of students from various countries. The University is a four-time winner of the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher Education.

Reading offers more than 350 undergraduate and postgraduate courses taught by leading academics. It offers a wide range of programmes from the pure and applied sciences to languages, humanities, social sciences, business and arts. Research at Reading is structured around five themes that include environment, food, health, heritage and creativity, and prosperity and resilience.

The University is set within 123 hectares of beautiful award-winning parkland, including lakes, meadows and the renowned Harris Garden with flower meadows, a cherry tree orchard and a jungle garden. Its campus is a thriving community and features the Students Union, contemporary study facilities, halls of residence, support services, library, places to eat and one the UK’s best student clubs.
