Foundation Studies Program (Standard)

Foundation Studies programs provide an academic pathway to first-year undergraduate degree studies or their equivalent. These programs serve as a bridge for international students who aspire to enroll in a university undergraduate degree course but do not yet meet the academic requirements or possess the necessary English language skills for tertiary education.Moreover, these programs are designed to offer students focused study opportunities in areas of special interest or specific disciplines, better preparing them for various sectors of their chosen university course. They also assist students in setting and articulating goals, enhancing self-management capabilities, and building confidence.

Age Minimum: 17

Completion of the equivalent of Year 11 of Australian secondary school, plus IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent scores as:

• TOEFL (iBT) – 72 (no skill below: Reading 10; Listening 9; Speaking 16; Writing 19)
• PTE Academic 50 with no score lower than 42
• Cambridge CAE (Certificate of Advanced English): B Grade
• Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English): C Grade
• Cambridge BEC (Business English Certificate) Higher: C Grade
