Master of Science in Accounting

The Master of Science in Accounting and Professional Accounting programs are designed to prepare students for professional careers in the public, private, or governmental sectors. Through an intensive and leading-edge curriculum, students earn a comprehensive education built to prepare graduates to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Developed for the working professional, the MS Accounting and Professional Accounting programs prepare students for rewarding careers in the rapidly growing and changing field of accounting.Offered weeknights in Arlington, the MS Accounting program provides high quality and challenging instruction focused on a thorough understanding of accounting for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting.
Building on the experience and coursework of an undergraduate accounting degree, students gain the quantitative, analytical and research skills needed for careers as accountants.
Completion of the program requires a minimum of 37 credit hours and will help students meet the educational requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Texas and most other jurisdictions.
