Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication)

Learn how graphic designers create graphics that communicate messages and evoke responses through the use of colour, texture, typography, images and symbols. This major allows you to experience all aspects of the design process, specialise in a particular field, or combine interests in layout design, advertising, photography, illustration or branding. You will be guided by industry experts and gain access to workplace internships and unique placement opportunities. As part of your studies, you will learn how to produce successful user-centred designs that address legal, environmental, social and ethical issues. For entry into most USC undergraduate degree programs, you need to have completed a minimum level of education similar to successful completion of Australian Year 12 with good grades. Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) - Successful completion with a minimum GPA of 2.3. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - Successful completion with minimum score of 24 (minimum score of 4 in each of six subjects)

IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each subtest, TOEFL iBT - Overall score of 76 with minimum score of 18 for writing
