Official TOEFL/IETLS test scores required for international students who come from countries where English is not their first language.
For all Business School graduate programs the minimum score for the TOEFL exam is 90 and the IELTS minimum score is 7.
Applicants who have completed two years of full-time study in a college or university in the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or the Anglophone regions or Africa, Canada, or the Caribbean, within five years of matriculating at WPI are not required to submit TOEFL or IELTS* scores. Students who have studied at a school where the language of instruction is English, but the official language of the country is not English do not qualify for a waiver (e.g., study at the American University in Cairo, Egypt, does not qualify a student for the TOEFL waiver).

All required application credentials should be uploaded electronically through the application. WPI accepts unofficial transcripts during the application process. All international applicants must upload a copy of their original transcript in the official language as well as an English translation to their application. Paper documents mailed will be discarded.
Applicants who enroll at WPI will be required to submit final and official transcripts from any university that issued a degree or where classes were taken towards a degree. Mailed final and official transcripts will be accepted.
require a minimum TOEFL iBT score of 84, TOEFL Essentials score of 8.5, IELTS score of 7 (minimum sub-score of 6.5), or Duolingo score of 115.
GRE Requirement
Several WPI programs require or strongly recommend the GRE. Please review the application requirements page to identify if the test is required. There are no minimum GRE scores, but the average for admitted students is typically 150 verbal, 165 quantitative, and 3.0 analytical.
