Have no criminal record or are under investigation for criminal acts, including conduct related to child exploitation, sexual abuse, or harassment;
have a full-time university degree;
commit to return to work in Vietnam for at least two years after completing the course in Australia;
have at least 24 months of suitable (full-time) work experience in Vietnam as of 30/04/2024, except for candidates with difficult circumstances (only a minimum of 12 months of suitable experience is required);
Do not register to study at a level lower than the highest level of study for which you currently have a degree (if you already have a Ph.D., you are not allowed to apply for a Master's degree).
Do not enroll in the equivalent of the highest level of study for which you currently have a degree. If you already have a Master's degree, you are not allowed to apply for a master's degree even in another field, except for applicants from disadvantaged circumstances (applicants with disabilities or applicants in disadvantaged rural areas as prescribed by the scholarship) who apply for a second master's degree in a field other than the previous one.
Have a valid IELTS Academic score (or TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic equivalent) if necessary. A valid English certificate is a certificate with an exam date starting from January 1, 2023, onwards. An IELTS Academic certificate (or TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic equivalent) must be submitted with the online application before the application deadline.
Applicants must provide full information about the programs they have been participating in in Vietnam or abroad. Applicants who are studying for a Master's degree but have not completed the course will be considered on a case-by-case basis
