Students will be selected by the office responsible for student awards with assistance from the Ukrainian Resource and Development Centre (URDC) at MacEwan University. If the perfect candidates cannot be found, the URDC will use their best discretion to choose a deserving student(s).

Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final, appeals will not be considered.

Typically given out in the Fall term.

Criteria

Candidates must be enrolled in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications.
One award will be given to a student who has shown an interest and made advancement in Ukrainian Music Research.
One award will be given to a student who has shown an interest and made advancement in Ukrainian Music Performance and Recording.
One award will be given to a student who has shown an interest and made advancement in composition of musical works based on Ukrainian themes.
Preference for the three awards will be given to the student with the highest grades.

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
