An Generator Service Technician - also known as a Generator Mechanic - installs, maintains and tests the generators and the engines that drive them. It's a specialized field working with internal combustion engines that run on various types of fuel systems as well as the generators and electrical systems used for back-up, emergency and primary (off grid) power systems.
